Kaden’s feet finally reach the floor in his rainforest jumper! He’s pretty excited about it and bounces all over the place. It’s pretty funny to watch. I really wish we had a video camera. :-( I took a few pictures of him yesterday. Again, if you would like to contribute to our camera fund you can do so by clicking the donate button.
We got Kaden’s 4 month pictures back from Penney’s last week. We just got them scanned today so I can post them. They’re pretty cute. I don’t think we’re getting anymore taken until he’s 6 months old. Although Penney’s keeps sending us coupons for free 8×10 pictures. We’re getting his 6 month pictures taken by the lady that did his 3 month pictures. I can’t wait! She has a bunch of really cute props so I hope he’s sitting up well by then.
I took some more pictures of Kaden while he was in a good mood yesterday. I edited them all so if you want originals to any of them just ask. We’re all getting used to the whole teething thing. It was horrible the first few days though. Still no sign of teeth yet. Hopefully he’ll get them soon. Kaden is becoming a lot more mobile, or at least he tries to be. He rolls over and scoots around a lot more. There’s not really anything else new to report, everything is still about the same.
Here are the pictures from yesterday. Also, if you’d like to donate to our camera fund so we don’t have to keep using our cell phones, that’d be great!
Kaden started teething a couple days ago. He is pretty unhappy about and so am I. He’s drooling everywhere and has a dry rash thing on his chin from drooling so much and has been sucking or chewing on his bottom lip. He screams all day, won’t sleep and doesn’t really like his teething ring things. He has chewed on them a few times and that’s it. He doesn’t like the Baby Orajel and Tylenol doesn’t seem to be helping much either. So there is absolutely no relief. He’s tired and very cranky and wont sleep. It’s horrible and I’m at home with him all day. Pretty sure I’m ready for a day off… at least.
Kaden has more tummy time pictures!! He really doesn’t enjoy tummy time but he has to. He was laughing quite a bit tonight, he must have been in a pretty good mood. He talks a lot more now too. It’s funny cuz he always says the same thing.
Here are some pictures from tummy time earlier. Also, you can still donate to our camera fund so we don’t have to keep using our cell phones.
I’ve been taking more pictures of Kaden. We like to have photo shoots. :-) Most of these are from yesterday but some are pictures I’ve posted in previous entries but I just edited them a little differently.
If you would like to donate to our camera fund so we don’t have to keep taking pictures with our cell phones, we’d love you forever. Hehe
Kaden has been pretty happy and in a good mood today considering how grouchy he was last night from his shots. I’ve been trying to get some good pictures and videos of him playing but it doesn’t work too well cuz the only form of camera we have are our cell phone which definitely are not known to have the best cameras. We need a digital camera and I really wish we could afford to get a video camera. We’ve already missed so much of Kaden that I would have really liked to have on video like the first time he tried cereal, his first swim, the first time he rolled over, ect. We’ve taken video on our phones but it only lets you record a 25 second clip and it’s all pixelated and doesn’t look good. After bills really all we have money for is food so there’s no money for cameras. :-( There’s a donate button at the bottom if you’d like to donate to our camera fund.
We just got back from Kaden’s 4 month doctor appointment. He weighs 13 pounds and 9 ounces and is 24 and a half inches long. She said he’s right where he should be for his age. She also said his flat head should even itself out in time (they do 95% of the time) but if not, he’ll have to wear a helmet for about 6 months or so until it gets better. :-( I hope he doesn’t have to. He got three more shots today so he wasn’t too thrilled about that.
Here are some pictures and a video from yesterday.
I was beginning to get a little discouraged because all the other 4 month olds held their heads high and were rolling over and Kaden barely lifts his head. But I have to remember he was a month early. He has been doing a lot better the last couple days with lifting his head higher. And this afternoon he rolled over from his tummy to his back!! I was pretty excited. He was pretty shocked too, I think it scared him a little hehe. He hasn’t done it again since then, maybe it scared him a little too much.
