Not too much going on lately. Kaden had is one month checkup last week although he wont actually be a month old until Thursday. He gained a pound and grew half an inch since his last appointment. So now he’s 6 pounds 12 ounce and 19 1/2 inches long. We’ve had to retire his premie clothes but more of the newborn clothes are still too big, he’s kind of between sizes right now. He has another heart murmur though. I guess he had one at the hospital but it went away but now there’s a new one. The doctor said it will probably go away on its own but if it’s not gone when we go in for his two month checkup he’ll have to see a pathologist. So hopefully it’ll go away. Other than that everything looks good and he’s gaining weight well. We’re going to get his pictures taken on the 27th so hopefully they’ll turn out well. He’s sleeping a little better at night now unless his stomach is upset. He has gas a lot and can’t seem to get it out unless I lift his legs and butt in the air.
He still likes to scratch at his face so now not only does he get to wear socks on his feet, but he gets to wear them on his hands now too hehe. It looks pretty funny but it helps and he doesn’t seem to mind.
Here’s a few pictures.

Kaden is still doing well. He’s had quite a few visitors lately. He’s eating good and sleeps a lot, mostly during the day. I think he has his days and nights mixed up. So Chad and I are pretty sleepy. Getting up every 3 hours at night is a lot harder than we thought it would be. I’m the one that usually gets up with to feed him though since Chad has to get up for work at like 5:30 in the morning. He still hasn’t changed a single diaper yet either and Kaden is 2 weeks old now. So you should get on to him about it..
Here is a funny picture of Kaden. He thinks it’s funny when he poops on mommy’s lap.

Kaden finally came home from the hospital today, yay! We had to stay the night there in a tiny, almost closet sized room with a sliding glass door with a curtain. It had a chair, and a small couch that folded down into a single bed with uncomfortable bars in your back. Yay. There was hardly any room to walk around. So it was pretty unpleasant and neither of us got any sleep. But Kaden is home now so it’s okay. He’s been grumpy because his tummy is upset from eating too much. He wanted a little more than he could handle I guess. Poor guy. I’ve tried to nap while he naps but every time I lay down he starts crying. I think he knows when I’m trying to sleep, he’s quiet all the rest of the time. Pooper.
