Today Kaden turned 3 months old! Doesn’t seem like that long. We got his pictures taken on the 21st but are still waiting to get them back. They were supposed to be done 2 days ago… Hopefully we’ll get them by tonight or tomorrow. I hate waiting, I really want to see them.

Kaden is still doing well. I need to call the doctor and ask them about his head though. It’s pretty flat on one side because he lays on it all the time and wont lay on the other side when I try to get him to. It looks pretty bad I think. But other than that, he’s good. He’s been kinda cranky the past few day though because he hasn’t been napping during the day. So by the time Chad gets home from work Kaden is very sleepy and cranky but doesn’t want to go to sleep. His screaming hurts my ears, it’s horrible. But at least once we get him to sleep he sleeps allllll through the night which is nice.

Yesterday was Chad’s first Father’s Day, hooray!! We spent the day up in Overland Park with his family. Both Kaden and Norma Jean did very well in the car on the way there and back. Such good kids, no arguing or anything. Although Norma was a little overly excited when we got there and was deemed the nickname “Coffee Dog” from Chad’s family.

Other than that, not much has gone on. Kaden had his appointment with the doctor that did his circumcision. It went well and she said it should get better with time so we’ll see I guess. I wish she would have told me that the last time I went in to have her look at it. Would have saved us $20 in co-pays. Oh well. We weighed Kaden while we were there and he’s now a heavy 11 pounds and 14 ounces. He’s a ham. But a cute ham. We had to get him size 2 diapers now! He has also outgrown a lot of his newborn clothes now too. He’s growing fast! His gas problem is a little better now too. We don’t have to put him in “Tooting mode” as much.

We’re going to get his 3 month pictures taken on the 21st. I’m excited to see how they turn out. I’ll have them posted as soon as we get them.

Here are some pictures from Father’s Day.

I know it’s been quite a while since I last updated. Kaden is still doing well. He still has to go back to see the doctor that did his circumcision though because I’m pretty sure she didn’t do a good job..at all. So I’m not happy about that. But other than that, everything is good. He’s still gaining weight and is a little chunky. He’s been sleeping a lot better now. He slept all night last night without waking up once. It was pretty nice. He has to be strapped in when he sit in his swing now. Before we didn’t even worry about strapping him in because he would just lay there, but now that he moves we have to. He’s starting to smile more than he used to. Although I think it’s still from gas because he’ll smile and then start screaming. We played in his rain forest gym today or at least he did. I got him to hold on to some of his toys too. Yay! He smiled quite a bit while we were playing without screaming afterward. So maybe he was actually having fun?
